Preventive Maintenance and Testing

Periodic Maintenance & Inspection (Recommended Annually)

Our technicians lubricate or grease all lubrication points, change the transfer case oil, and check & refill all fluids. Then, following NFPA Section 4.5.5, we inspect your unit according to an extensive, customized checklist for your chassis, body, and pump system. You are provided with a copy of this report which will indicate any items found that might need your immediate attention or a future consideration.

Annual NFPA Pump Service Test (Required Annually)

Using our flow test equipment, our technicians will set up and perform flow & performance testing on your unit at a suitable source of water. Our mobile pump test trailer is available to conduct this annual test at your location. Upon completion you will be mailed a Pump Test Certificate for your records.

Engine Service (Recommended per the Engine Manufacturer)

Our technicians scrutinize operation to confirm the engine is performing at its best, and execute the maintenance and fluid replacements recommended by the engine manufacturer.

Transmission Service (Recommended per the Transmission Manufacturer)

We comb through the overall operation of the transmission and power take-off points, and replace all fluids based on the transmission manufacturer’s schedule.
